Theology class led by Pastor Clint and Pastor Mike for 6th-12th grade students. They will be utilizing the study guide, "Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know" by Wayne Grudem. The first session will be Sundays, September 12-26 at 4:45-5:45 PM in the Warehouse (Underground). There will be a short break and classes will continue on Sundays, October 31-November 21.

Registration is free, but workbooks cost: $5 (books will be given out at the first class). If you are interested in learning the basic theological doctrines of the Bible, register for this class by September 5 below, or sign up in the Underground, or call 704-531-4023.

Many people believe that becoming financially free is learning how to create a spending plan and investing for the future, but that's only partially true.The Bible contains 2,350 verses dealing with money and possessions. Applying this timeless wisdom is the key to financial success. The 10-week Crown classes start Wednesday, September 1st at 6:30pm. Childcare is provided.

Men, do you want to win? Do you have a game plan for life? Join us for the Men’s Fraternity Kick-off event on Saturday, September 11, 7- 8:30 AM in the Chapel. Casey Crawford, former Carolina Panthers player and NFL Superbowl XXXVII Champion from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be our guest speaker. Come meet and hear his story! You'll also hear testimonies from John Hannah, a former NFL lineman and pro Hall of Famer, and Matt Stover, a 16 year veteran in the NFL and kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, who are both members of the Men’s Fraternity. This is a free event. Our very own Dr. Joe B. Brown will be our ‘Coach’ for Training Camp!

Men’s Fraternity is not just a Bible study. It is a weekly experience for men who want to train together to win on the ultimate playing field, LIFE. There is a $15 fee to join Men's Fraternity. The Worship Ministry Christmas program will be held on the evening of Sunday December 5. The department is interested in adding some vocalists to our existing teams for this program. If you are willing to participate in this event, please contact Nancy Tucker at nancytucker@hgbc.org or 704-531-5333 to schedule a brief vocal audition. Auditions are open to adults and high school students beginning September 12th after morning services conclude. All auditions must be completed by September 29.

Two options are available: Chicken and Biscuit lunch for $5 or a Peanut Butter and Jelly lunch for $4. All lunches come with dessert and beverage. You can reserve your meal from August 29 - September 26 at the Welcome Desk in the Worship Center Lobby or online.
